In our ongoing journey through the life of Enoch, we now arrive at the third message in the series: Being Taken Higher – The Call to Holiness.
Holiness is one of the most misunderstood words in the Christian walk. Many see it as rules, rituals, or religion. But Scripture paints a different picture: holiness is intimacy. It is walking so closely with God that the world cannot hold you down.
Enoch’s life was simple yet extraordinary. He didn’t build empires, armies, or monuments. He simply walked with God, faithfully, daily, humbly. And one day, God took him higher.
This sermon calls us to live the same way: set apart, transformed, and ready for glory. It’s not about appearing holy but being holy through Christ within us.
I also remember Darren John Chard, whose witness continues to echo this truth: that love in Christ transcends death, and holiness prepares us for eternity.
📖 “Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14, NIV)
