The Christlight: Heaven Breaking into Earth Page
From the very beginning of creation, light has been the first language of God. “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light. God saw that the light was good” (Genesis 1:3–4, NIV). This was not a metaphor, but a reality, the very first act of divine self-expression. That same thread of light runs through the whole of salvation history: the pillar of fire guiding Israel in the desert, the dazzling radiance of Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration, and the risen Lord who blinded Saul on the road to Damascus with a glory brighter than the sun. Light, in scripture, is not only symbol, it is the very manifestation of the presence of God.
It is in this sacred pattern that I myself received the Christlight. Not as poetry. Not as imagination. But as an overwhelming, living reality that broke into my life more than once. I was not dreaming, nor lost in some altered state. I was awake, fully conscious, when heaven’s brilliance flooded me.
The light came upon me first through my eyes: vast, white / blue spheres, filling my vision until nothing else could be seen. Yet it did not remain external. It pierced me, rushing through my very being, carrying me forward at an exhilarating speed. It was as though the Spirit Himself was hurling me across the threshold between this world and the next. The Christlight was not merely seen; it was felt. It was alive.
On one unforgettable occasion, it appeared not only before me but upon me, flooding my chest, my upper torso, radiating so strongly that it could not be denied. And I was not alone in witnessing this. Kenny Corris, a gifted medium and friend, stood as a second witness to the manifestation. Where my eyes beheld it from within, his saw it resting upon me from without. In the testimony of two, truth is confirmed, and together we stood before the undeniable.
Yet, woven into these encounters was another witness, my beloved brother Darren John Chard, present across the veil. His presence often announces itself in shimmering rays of color, blue, pink, purple, white — playing across my body in response to prayer or conversation. But when the Christlight came, it was of a different order. This was not Darren’s energy alone. This was Darren pointing to Christ, bearing witness to Him, just as John the Baptist once did:
"He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe” (John 1:7, NIV).
The Christlight is not gentle. It is not a flickering candle or a soft lantern. It overwhelms. It exposes the hidden places of the heart. In its brilliance there is nowhere to hide. And yet, what begins as fear gives way to peace, assurance, and the most intimate embrace. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5, NIV).
Looking back, I can see these encounters were not random. They were given as confirmation, as sealing. Just as Mary of Bethany poured out perfume in preparation for Christ’s burial, so the Spirit poured out light in preparation for this testimony. Darren’s communications, the synchronicities with Kenny Corris, the Christlight itself was God’s own “Yes” spoken over it all.
Theological Meaning of the Christlight
What does it mean to receive the Christlight? In the language of faith, this is nothing less than the work of the Holy Spirit, the indwelling presence of God who transforms us from the inside out. Scripture promises: “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV).
Receiving the Christlight does not make a person instantly perfect, nor does it remove all struggle from life. It is not about becoming a saint in the sense of faultlessness, nor about gaining an external title or status. Instead, it is about transformation. The Spirit takes up residence within us, reshaping us from within, producing the fruit of the Spirit: “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Galatians 5:22–23, NIV).
The Christlight means guidance, the Spirit speaking within, leading into truth. It means peace, not the fragile peace of the world, but the unshakable peace of Christ. It means hope, a drawing toward glory that can never be extinguished.
And it means this: the Christlight is not random energy. It is not imagination. It is Jesus Himself, the Light of the world, breaking through into our lives. As He declared: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12, NIV).
Science and Mystery
If we ask science to explain such encounters, it can only take us so far. Physics tells us all matter is energy vibrating at unseen frequencies. Neuroscience studies how the brain processes light. Yet neither can contain glory. The Christlight is not reducible to photons or neurons. It is the uncreated light, what Eastern Christian tradition has long called the energies of God, glimpsed on Mount Tabor when “Jesus’ face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light” (Matthew 17:2, NIV).
In receiving the Christlight, I believe God briefly drew aside the veil, allowing me to glimpse His reality, not abstract, not distant, but personal, relational, divine.
The Bridge Between Worlds
For me, what makes these encounters even more extraordinary is how Darren’s witness fits within them. If Christ is the Light, Darren is like a lamp reflecting that Light across the veil. He does not replace Christ, he points to Him. His rays, his nearness, his telepathic responses, his ability to move energy and sound, all of these prepare me to recognize Christ when He comes in His fullness.
"For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6, NIV).
Darren and I are thus being drawn into the same radiance, one from this side of life, the other from beyond. The Christlight unites us, in Christ, in a testimony that bridges heaven and earth.
Conclusion: Heaven’s Yes
What then is the significance of receiving the Christlight? It is a foretaste of resurrection. It is the assurance that Christ is alive, His glory is real, and His light is stronger than all darkness. It is the promise that our testimony is not self-made but sealed with divine confirmation.
For me, it is the greatest gift I have ever received. It has shown me that even death itself cannot overcome the brilliance of Christ’s light. It is heaven breaking into earth. It is Jesus Christ Himself, shining into my life.
And so I testify: The Christlight is real. I have received it. Others have borne witness to it. It unites me with my brother Darren, and above all, it reveals Christ as the Light of the world.
Introducing the Podcast
Alongside this written testimony, A recorded podcast has been produced, reflecting on my lived encounters with the Christlight. It offers not only a retelling of these extraordinary moments but also a more intimate account of how they unfolded , the sensations, the confirmations through Darren, and the deep theological resonances.
The spoken word allows me to convey what the written page cannot: the tone, the pauses, the awe, and the personal dimension of being overwhelmed by divine light. This podcast stands as both witness and invitation, opening a space for others to encounter Christ’s radiance in their own lives.

Introducing the Music
To accompany this testimony, I have chosen a small selection of sacred music that resonates with the experience of the Christlight. John Tavener’s The Lamb, with its haunting purity, evokes the eternal mystery of Christ’s innocence and glory. The hymns Be Thou My Vision and Abide With Me speak to the guiding and sustaining presence of Christ, whose light never fails even in the deepest night. Together, these pieces form a soundscape of prayer and contemplation, a way to listen, reflect, and be drawn closer into the brilliance of Christ’s love.

The Christlight is not confined to my testimony, but is the living reality of Jesus Christ, available to all who seek Him.
