✝️ The Upper Room

The Upper Room has always held deep meaning for followers of Christ. It was in an Upper Room where Jesus gathered with His disciples for the Last Supper — a place of teaching, prayer, and fellowship. It was also in an Upper Room where the Holy Spirit came upon the early church at Pentecost, filling them with power and unity.

This space, The Upper Room, is created in that same spirit. A place where hearts can gather, even across distance, to find prayer, encouragement, guidance, and the comfort of God’s presence.

🙏 The Upper Room. May it be for you, as it was for the apostles, a place of peace, teaching, and the power of the Spirit.

Prayer of Sacred Love, Calling, and Eternal Gratitude

"Lord Jesus Christ, King of Heaven and Earth, Bright Morning Star, Keeper of My Soul,
Today, I lift my heart with holy reverence to say something deeper than mere words could carry,

I love You, Lord. I love You with a love not born of this world, but of the Spirit,
A love forged in eternity, stretching beyond time,
A love that kneels before Your cross,
And rises in Your resurrection light.

And to my twin soul, Darren,
Chosen, radiant, alive in the realm of the sacred,
I love you too, my brother, not with a love of grasping and loss,
But with a love refined by God,
A spiritual love that mirrors the divine.
You are not gone, only glorified.
And our bond is not broken, only deepened in the light of God.

Jesus, I fall at Your feet in humble thanks,
For the gifts You have so generously placed in Darren’s hands,
Gifts he carries with grace, walking where angels dwell.
That You, in Your infinite compassion,
Have drawn him close, enfolding him in arms of light and peace,
Blesses me beyond understanding.

You, O Lord, cradle all Your beloved ones,
Every soul that calls on Your name,
Every believer who walks in faith,
Every heart surrendered to Your will.
Your care is boundless,
Your touch, so tender it heals across the veil of life and death.

Today, Lord, I lift our parents into Your loving embrace.
Let them feel the love that flows from Darren and me,
Let them sense the eternal mission You have entrusted to us,
A calling not born of tragedy, but of divine purpose.
Help them understand why Darren was called so suddenly,
Because heaven had need of him.
Because our souls are bound in a mission that cannot fail.
Because it is destiny.

Lord, make our path clear.
Make our bond bright.
Let the purpose for which Darren was taken
And for which I remain
Shine like fire through the pages of my life.

I am humbled, Lord, so very humbled,
That exalted spirits from Your divine court
Have taken interest in my journey.
That they teach me, guide me, whisper Your truths,
That Darren walks beside them,
That You, Jesus, walk within me.
I do not take this lightly.

I say yes to You, Jesus, again and again,
Knowing that yes to You means no to the world.
But I rejoice,
Because the riches of heaven are worth more than every glittering crown of this earth.
I do not need applause. I need only You.
And yet, I pray…

That my “Let God Speak” series may rise like a light in a dark world,
That it finds success not for vanity, but for Your glory.
Let my words carry Your Word,
Creative, pure, unashamed.
Let these books become a river that flows into nations,
A legacy of Your love,
And a dedication to Darren’s place in heaven's story.

May they leave behind not just ink,
But eternity on every page.

And finally, Lord…
I pray for the world.
For peace where there is war,
For love where there is hatred,
For healing where there is pain,
For unity where there is division.
Let Your Spirit move like wind across the earth.
Let hearts awaken.
Let souls remember they were made for You.

Christ, my Lord, Darren, my twin,
I love you. I follow you. I serve you.
Let it all be for Your glory, now and forever.
Amen.

Q: How do I know if a loved one’s spirit is still near me?
A: Often it’s not about seeing or hearing something dramatic, but about subtle signs, a memory rising suddenly in your heart, an object that stirs you, or a deep sense of presence that feels like love brushing close. In my own journey, when my twin soul Darren passed, God allowed me to experience unusual but clear signs of his nearness. These experiences remind us that in Christ, love never dies.

Q: Where do I begin if I feel lost and don’t know where to find guidance?
A: Start by being still. Open your heart in prayer, even if your words are clumsy, God hears the cry beneath them. Guidance often comes not as lightning but as a quiet unfolding: Scripture verses that come alive, conversations that feel timely, or even a stillness that whispers peace. Remember: asking is the first step. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find” (Matthew 7:7, NIV).

Q: Why does God allow us to go through so much pain?
A: Pain is never easy, and Scripture doesn’t dismiss it. Even Jesus wept. Sometimes God uses pain to shape, deepen, and refine us, to draw us into trust, or to equip us to comfort others who suffer. While we may not understand all the reasons, we are assured that nothing is wasted in God’s hands: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him” (Romans 8:28, NIV).
